NATCO Will Assist Present and New Customers Who Lost Phone Service in February 5 Tornado
Northern Arkansas Telephone Company (NATCO) will assist present
customers displaced by the Feb. 5 tornado by holding their phone
numbers and re-installing telephone service free when customers
are ready, said Steven G. Sanders Jr., NATCO vice president and
plant manager.
Also, new customers moving into the NATCO telephone service area
from other areas damaged by the tornado will receive free phone
installation, Sanders said.
To be included in this offer, customers must notify NATCO that
storm damage put their phones out of service. They may use regular
mail, stop by the NATCO office, call NATCO toll-free at 1-800-775-6682,
or e-mail NATCO at custserv@natconet.com.
“We want to reserve existing customers’ phone numbers
for them so their business and personal contacts can continue normally
after the storm damage is repaired and re-install their service
free whenever they are ready,” Sanders said. “We offer
any new customers moving into our six telephone exchange areas
due to the tornado the same courtesy,” he said.
