South Shore Foundation Grant for the FBNCA Bridge Bash

Flippin, Ark. - South Shore Foundation recently awarded The Food Bank of North Central Arkansas $2000 for the Bridge Bash fundraiser, an event to raise awareness for hunger relief agencies in north central Arkansas. The FBNCA Bridge Bash will be held Saturday September 24th from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. on the Rainbow Bridge and in the Big Spring Park in Cotter and will include a bridge ceremony and free festival with a variety of vendors, activities and live music.

"This event is a great opportunity to be a part of an outreach by a worthy organization," noted Steve Smith, board member. "The South Shore Foundation is proud to be among the individuals and businesses in our local communities raising the much needed funds to meet the ever growing needs of people in our area."

South Shore Foundation is the charitable arm of NATCO Communications, a locally-owned, independent telecommunications company celebrating 60 years in the area. It is a nonprofit organization working to enhance the quality of life in the South Shore - Bull Shoals - Arkansas region. The Foundation values the natural environment as a basis for the South Shore way of life and believes technology can be employed to advance economic opportunity and community betterment.
