NATCO Phone Directory Recycling Underway

NATCO phone book recycling to begin NATCO at Flippin has distributed blue "Recycle" bins to traditional locations for its 10th annual drive to recycle customers' outdated telephone directories. NATCO customers may recycle their phone directories through Sept. 30 at all Arvest Bank locations, at NATCO in Flippin, city halls in Flippin, Bull Shoals, and Diamond City, Lead Hill Country Market, Charlie's Restaurant and Pizza in Omaha, and Brooks-Jeffrey Marketing at 19 Medical Plaza, Mountain Home.

Customers of Northern Arkansas Telephone Company in Marion and Boone Counties are reminded of the 10th annual phone book recycling project, now underway. "Our customers may drop off their old Ozark Regional Directories, or any directory they have, at the traditional recycling locations in the communities of our service area, including Arvest Bank branches," said Steven Sanders Jr., vice president and plant manager at NATCO. Sanders listed the locations as follows:

• Flippin: NATCO building lobby, Flippin City Hall (8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. weekdays), Arvest Bank (8 a.m. - 6 p.m.)
• Bull Shoals: City Hall (24 hours) and Arvest Bank (8 a.m. - 6 p.m.)
• Lead Hill: Lead Hill Country Market (6 a.m. to 9 p.m.) and Arvest Bank (8 a.m. - 6 p.m.)
• Diamond City: Community Center (8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
• Omaha: Charlie's Restaurant and Pizza (6 a.m. - 10 p.m.)
• Mountain Home: Arvest Bank (8 a.m. - 6 p.m.) and Brooks-Jeffrey Marketing, 19 Medical Plaza (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
• Yellville: Arvest Bank (8 a.m. - 6 p.m.)

The recycling bins will be in place through Sept. 30.

Customers are asked to respect the property of the participating businesses and offices and place the old phone directories only in the bins marked with the "Recycle" symbol and NATCO company logo. "These businesses and offices are doing a fine service for us, and we thank them," Sanders said.
