CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE
Join NATCO in our pursuit to bring fiber optic broadband connectivity to some of the most rural areas of north-central Arkansas! We are on a mission to transform the digital landscape of north-central Arkansas by extending the reach of fiber optic broadband to the most remote corners of our service area. As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a Customer Care Representative (CCR) with a passion for customer satisfaction to join our team.
The CCR assists both existing and future customers with service inquiries and services related issues. The assistance includes assistance with billing and account questions, scheduling service trouble and placing orders for changes in services. The CCR is also responsible for promoting services offered by the company in the form of new sales and/or upgrades in services.

Some of the regular and reoccurring responsibilities and expectations of the CCR at NATCO may include, but not limited to:
- Checks the customer service voicemail queue checked daily and return calls in a timely manner to answer calls concerning billing, pricing, product information and service availability;
- Sets payment arrangements for customers having trouble making full payments or has a situation that has come up that made them not able to pay;
- Educates customer on Lifeline program and complete paperwork; process yearly renewals for existing Lifeline subscribers;
- Ensures that each customer or future customer receives prompt and friendly service by providing a willingness to listen to customer needs and solid product knowledge;
- Handles customer inquiries and problems in an effective and timely manner;
- Acquires and enrolls new customers through the use of consistent sales techniques;
- Retains existing customers through the use of proactive customer service / consulting techniques;
- Demonstrates adequate product knowledge and possesses ability to troubleshoot service issues for voice and broadband;
- Develops relationships with residential clients through contact in person, on the phone, or through written communications;
- Interacts with other groups to identify, troubleshoot, and/or resolve service / scheduling issues, and provide consistent follow up to ensure timely completion or resolution that meets or exceeds customer expectations;
- Maintains confidentiality and security of all customer information.

OSP TELECOM FIELD MANAGER

The OSP Telecom Field Manager will be at the forefront of supervising, planning, and coordinating all outside plant construction, installation, and repair activities for both residential and business customers. Some of the regular and reoccurring responsibilities and expectations of a OSP Telecom Field Manager at NATCO may include, but not be limited to:
- Ensure work complete for all outside plant activities to include quality standard adherence and reporting;
- Perform quality control visits for construction, install and repair activities;
- Cross-coordinate with outside departments to ensure customer satisfaction;
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely and budget conscious completion;
- Maintain accurate records of budgets, schedules, equipment and materials used;
- Draw, read, and understand staking sheets, map, geographical survey map and circuit designs;
- Ensure compliance with Federal RUS specifications for work performed by outside plant employees and contractors;
- Understand material and equipment involved in telephone operations to include copper, fiber and coaxial cable and their distribution design;
- Display telecom/broadband technical expertise, project management skills, and a client-focused approach while staying updated with industry trends;
- Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions to include trending and root cause analysis.

- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication or like field OR minimum of 4 years' experience installing, provisioning, and maintaining telecommunications and/or broadband services.

Some of the regular and reoccurring responsibilities and expectations of the Internet Support Specialist at NATCO may include, but not be limited to:
- Ability to install and troubleshoot customer internet hardware and software.
- Ability to evaluate and test internet software and hardware solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with computers, software, and hardware for internal employees as well as NATCO business and residential customers.
- Educating customers on how to use their software and hardware.
- Responding to customer inquiries by phone, email or in person.

Qualifications and desired skills or experiences include:

Some of the regular and reoccurring responsibilities and expectations of the Install and Repair Technician at NATCO may include, but not be limited to:
- Installing aerial boots;
- Splicing new cable (copper or fiber);
- Installing and repairing digital carrier systems;
- Thorough knowledge of electronics;
- Understanding digital and analog telecommunications technology;
- Knowledge of color codes of pairs and fiber cable;
- Experience with ADSL and Ethernet services;
- Strong computer skills;
- Ability to read cross connect/control point layout to run jumpers;
- Basic electrical knowledge.
Qualifications and desired skills or experiences include:
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test;
- A valid driver's license with no major violations;
- Understanding of OSHA required safety practices, including ladder safety and pole climbing;
- Utilizing crawl spaces in attics and under homes;
- Working outside in all types of weather;
- Ability to communicate with customers effectively and professionally;

PLANT ASSIGNER AND DISPATCHER

As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Plant Assigner and Dispatcher to join our team.
A vital cog in our operations process, the Plant Assigner and Dispatcher will strategically and meticulously schedule in-field appointments for our technicians and customers. This role is also responsible for maintaining accurate plant assignments. We are seeking a savvy coordinator with a knack for cultivating positive customer interactions and the ability to navigate the dynamic day-to-day challenges and demands of the broadband industry.

Some of the regular and reoccurring responsibilities and expectations of a Plant Assigner and Dispatcher at NATCO may include, but not be limited to:
- Ensuring proper work assignments to Operations Department Field Technicians, Construction Crews, Network Services, and Internet Support Group on a daily basis
- Closely coordinating with Customer Care to ensure scheduling of work aligns with Operations Department manpower and availability
- Answering all incoming calls as quickly, professionally and effectively as possible.
- Opening RPC Service orders to replace any temporary drops placed with permanent drops
- Ensuring that all service orders, work orders, and trouble tickets are properly closed out by the respective assigned technicians in a timely manner
- Ensuring that serialized and unserialized materials are properly documented with each service and or work order
- Ensuring all locate requests have been submit to prevent delays in installations, as well as accurately engineering and assigning locations for all new service order activity and moves.
- Assigning plant cable pairs in new cable and fiber strands in new cable or new locations.
- Operating CAD/GIS systems, utilizing Mapcom, Adtran, assigning in NISC and Calix.
- Ensuring that the installer/repair person has accurate physical descriptions before being dispatched into the field including correct cable information; answering questions on outside plant assignments for the installer/repair personnel and outside contractors.
- Updating and maintaining the plant record system with total accuracy;
- Processing input, drafting and facilities database;
- Verifying data of PIC changes, changes in class of service and location, number changes, and CO based customer services in the CS15 softswitch.
- Producing reports as requested by the management on a regular basis for reporting purposes to the Arkansas Public Service Commission.
- Opening work orders for new construction and assigning the associated work order numbers for those builds; compiling and verifying final plant information to submit to Accounting department at the close of a project.
Qualifications and desired skills or experiences include:
- Previous experience as a dispatcher, especially in telephony, is preferred;
- GIS/CAD experience;
- Ability to read maps/blueprints;
- Extremely accurate data entry skills;
- Demonstrated organizational skills for organizing Engineering records;
- Ability to work well under pressure;
- Demonstrated analytical reasoning ability;
- Effective and professional communication with customers;
- A high school diploma or GED;
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift to 50 lbs., and drive a vehicle.
